Navaratri Events in Gujarat 2018

We know that Navratri is the one the biggest festive celebrated every year in Gujarat with great enthusiasm. Navaratri has already began on 10th October 2018 and it will last till 18th October 2018. We have prepared a list of Garba events 2018 for each city of Gujarat below:

Navaratri events in Ahmedabad

• Mirchi Rock N’ Dhol, Ahmedabad

  In Ahmedabad, Mirchi Rock N’ Dhol is one of the most distinct garba and dandiya event held every year. During this event around 50,000 people folk together.The venue for Mirchi Rock N’ Roll Dhol is Aman Aakash Party Plot, beside Trust Nagar Society, Shreyas Crossing Road. The Garba and Dandiya nights are taking place from October 2 till October 10. You can book either a season pass or get daily tickets that cost between Rs 300 to 350. • Friend Garba : This event is hosted only for two days and it’s a most awaited event in the city. It hosts one of a kind dance party and you will absolutely love it if you love dancing, especially dandiya. Organized in the Akash Aman Party plot, this year the festivities and celebration will happen on the last two days of Navratri that is on the 8th and 9th of October. Navaratri events in Vadodara

• Vadodara Navratri festival from 1st to 10th October 2016 at Navlakhi Grounds. the scintillating singers who will make to go on the floor to move your steps into the grabs this Navratri are from Aarohi Group consisting of Gautam Dabir, Anupa pota, Shyam Ghediya, Seema Deepak Parikh. • The United Way Garba, Vadodara: In Vadodara, it is most attracted area during Navratri. The crowd of around 30,000 people gets together during the nine nights devoted to goddess Durga in the beautiful traditional dressing of chaniya-choli, dandiya.
• Maa Shakti Garba, Vadodara: Here the Grand Navratri is celebrated. In 2004, approximately 40,000 dancers were a part of this event.This year the event will take place the at Gujarat housing board ground in Samta Road and for tickets, you can log onto their website.

Navaratri events in Rajkot

• Akila Pioneer Navratri Mahotsav 2016:
  The Pioneer group is organizing musical orchestra team and garba players that play on this music. The mahotsav will be from 1st October 2016 to 9th October 2016. The venue of the event is Kosheto Sports, Near Kishanpara Chowk, Shastri Maidan, Rajkot. Passes price for this event is set to Rs.1500 for male, Rs.1000 for female, Rs.2000 for couple pass and Rs.1000 for a kid. And female between 18-34 years old gets the free pass.
• Bomboo beat mega Navratri festival 2016:
  This year bomboo beat is back with different some uniqueness in its event in this Navratri. The bomboo beat event is from 1st October 2016 to 9th October 2016 with the starting time of 8:00pm. The venue of the event is Virani School Ground, Rajkot, Gujarat.

Navaratri events in Suart

• Shukans Dandiya: It is organized by the AMZ Navratri Group. It will be held at the Surat Exhibition and Convention Centre and unlike other open air dandiya nights, this one is usually held inside an AC Dome. Staring from October 1st to 11th, the dance and festivities will begin each day at 7 pm. This year’s Shankus Dandiya will see artists like Chetan Rana who has been giving live performances. Apart from him, Rajesh Modi, Priya Patidaar , Zarna Kotecha and Sania Rawani are the other artists who will be performing during this event. These artists are live performers with good experience in their field. The prices of the tickets range from Rs 500 to Rs 1000. It has been classified under Diamond, Gold, and Silver and each the day the prices may vary.

Since Ahmedabad and Vadodara are two cities where Navratri is most popular, garba and dandiya events are hosted by the Gujarat Tourism. In Ahmedabad it is hosted at the GMDC ground, 132 Feet Ring Road. It is called as Vibrant Navratri Mahotsav 2016. The event starts from Tue Oct 04 2016 at 07:00 pm to 11:59 pm. They not only have garba, but also have handicrafts and other fun activities to keep the kids entertained. They also host a state level garba competition that attracts many skilled dancers.
